Myanmar
Theravada Buddhism is the dominant religion in Myanmar, practiced by approximately 88% of the population and granted a "special position" under the constitution. Christianity is the largest minority faith at roughly 6%, followed by Islam at about 4%, though these groups often face significant persecution amid the country's ongoing civil war.
CCI began its training ministry in Myanmar in 2009. Our National Director faithfully oversees a rapidly growing ministry that is equipping believers across the country. Under his leadership, CCI Myanmar now includes 5 Area Coordinators, 20 teachers and over 290 students.
God continues to expand this ministry through CCI leadership, the dedicated CCI staff, and 285 graduates who are actively serving in local churches. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
Your gift of any amount is important to help equip pastors who are multiplying the Word of God to many people. Will you partner with us to equip leaders in Myanmar?
