Rejected by family AFTER Surviving Genocide

From the CCI President

A Killing Fields Survivor and Former Devout Buddhist

God has Sitha Dourng Doing a Mighty Work with CCI Cambodia

We want to tell you a remarkable, inspiring story about Cambodian National Sitha Dourng, a key CCI equipping leader. God is working through him and your partnership has helped make it happen.

According to a recent study, the nation of Cambodia is 97.9% Buddhist. It's easy to see why Cambodia's greatest need, which CCI meets head-on every day, is equipping Cambodian pastors and church leaders to lead local churches and multiply disciples.

Further, in the late 1970s, Cambodia experienced a horrific genocide. Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge massacred 2.5 million people. Every family in Cambodia suffered the death of a loved one. Nearly half of the population, who had education, spoke another language, or wore prescription glasses, were murdered and thrown into rice fields. It was a terrible moment in the history of Cambodia.
