In 2 Timothy 2:8-9, we read Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound! Paul was in prison, facing death. Some of his colleagues had abandoned him (2 Tim. 2:15). Timothy needed some encouragement to be courageous (2 Tim. 1:6-7). False teaching abounded (2 Tim. 2:16-19). But God’s Word was still being taught and was accomplishing God’s purposes!
We are living in challenging times, but the Word of God is not bound. With the pandemic we are facing all over the world, God’s message is still being proclaimed. Read More.
