Wow! We can hardly contain our excitement and belief. We are moving to Mexico! When we started on this adventure, we were very ambitious and wanted to raise 100% in 100 days. In the book of Proverbs, chapter 19 in verse 2, it says, “Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.” In retrospect, we see how God has been preparing us, and allowing us the time necessary to prepare for living in another country many miles away from our family. This is a hard thing for Jenny as she loves to be close to our children and family. She understands that God has called us to be in Mexico, but it still weighs on her heart as it isn’t so easy to just go over and help our children or her parents or to see our grandchildren. We are thankful for the technology of today
where we can have a video chat and see them.
Being able to hang out with our children during the holidays, quite a few times before we left, has proven to be very special. We are going to treasure those moments. We can also take comfort in knowing that we can communicate regularly with them while we are in Mexico.
