God continues to show His glory! One way that He reveals it is through what He asks of us. We sometimes think that His will for us is more than we can comprehend or do. We truly need Jesus for every part of it. As I pondered on brotherly kindness, this passage came up. Luke 6:35 says, ”Love your enemies, do what is good. Lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great and you will be acting as children of the Most High. For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil.”
God wants us to know that He is the giver. He is the giver of life and everything that goes with it. When we know Jesus, we have an increased capacity to give. We can give love to people who seem undeserving. Our Father does it! We can lend, because our Father gives it to us. Beyond that, our Father paid it all. Jesus has given us His spirit and with it, we can influence the world around us.
The ISC Team is impacting the world. We know that we have an increased capacity to give. As children of the Most High, we GO and we give with certainty that our reward will be great.
