Mexico: The Arnolds Taco 'bout It.

Updated: May 16, 2023

"Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well: Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth."

3 John 1:5-8

Relationship development has been our focus for these few months and the Lord has afforded us many opportunities. Keith was invited to go to a breakfast held by a local pastor from the States. He organizes a march of Christians each year; this was the breakfast where he instructed all the pastors of the churches in the area to participate. Keith went with Joel King, a good friend and missionary here in Mexico, and Samuel Mendoza, a national pastor of Iglesia Bautista Betel. While fellowshipping with the people around him, he met a man by the name of Saul. Keith told him of the training that we will be doing and he wants to participate. Saul is in charge of housing and organizing medical missions here in Puerto Peñasco. We have scheduled three classes for when we return. Keith will teach two in Spanish and one in English.

Joel King, missionary pastor of Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer was asked to preach a special service on the Saturday before Easter Sunday at Samuel Mendoza’s church. We went to support him and visit with Samuel and his family.
