Earthquake in Myanmar

On March 28, 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, adding to the devastation in a country already torn apart by civil war since the military coup on February 1, 2021. The situation on the ground is dire, and many international relief agencies are struggling to reach those in need due to ongoing conflict and instability.

On March 30, the Myanmar National Director and his two daughters attended a one-day seminar on emergency response to bring the best hope and help to the victims. It helped them see more opportunities. Then, they formed a team of churches and started raising funds within the churches and beyond to reach more people.

With the donations of His people, they went there for three days. They were able to give money to 100 injured people directly at the hospital, rice and cooking oil to 300 affected families, and some money to one orphanage center and three churches for their church building and victims.

Thousands have lost their homes, properties, and loved ones, leaving them in pain and misery. Small-scale earthquakes followed for days afterward. People are still living outside their houses. In this time of crisis, churches and organizations have been reached.

The National Director and a group of pastors went to the massively devastated regions on April 9 to bring hope and relief. They heard that many rural villages are left without help.

As CCI teams are responding, providing aid, and standing alongside believers with both practical help and the hope of the gospel, please be with them in prayer and support. Your support can make a life-changing difference in their lives. We are currently accepting donations to help rebuild homes for pastors, churches, and others who have lost everything.
