The Word of God declares, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) This powerful truth reminds us that Christ’s sacrifice was not based on anything we had done to deserve it, but was a pure demonstration of God’s overwhelming love for us.
