Bangladesh

Bangladesh is overwhelmingly Muslim (~91%), with Hindus at about 8% and small minorities of Buddhists, Christians, and other faiths. Islam is the state religion, but minority religions are legally protected. The Muslim population has grown, making Bangladesh one of the world’s largest Muslim‑majority countries.

CCI began its training ministry in Bangladesh in 2020, with Samuel Biswas and Dhiren Biswas. Samuel serves as the National Director of CCI Bangladesh. He faithfully oversees a rapidly growing ministry that is equipping believers across the country. Under his leadership, CCI Bangladesh now includes 1 Area Coordinator (Dhiren),  14 teachers and over 300 students.

God continues to expand this ministry through Samuel’s leadership, the dedicated CCI staff, and 64 graduates who are actively serving in local churches. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
