Discipleship is not optional. It is the command of Christ in Matthew 28:19, and it continues to drive our mission to equip leaders throughout East Africa. We remain grateful for the faithful prayers and support of our ministry partners who help make this work possible.
In April, the Lord opened significant doors for ministry in both South Sudan and Uganda. I traveled to Wau, South Sudan, where we conducted vision-casting and a Teacher Training Workshop for 53 pastors and church leaders at Jesus Hope Community Church. The response was very encouraging, and leaders are eager to begin CCI training in the region. During the trip, we also witnessed God moving powerfully through evangelism services, salvations, and baptisms.
Later in the month, we held another promotion event in western Uganda with pastors and denominational leaders who welcomed the CCI ministry and expressed excitement about beginning classes in their area. While there is still a great need for additional teachers and leadership development across the region, we praise God for the opportunities He continues to provide to strengthen His Church through biblical training and discipleship.
