From the President: Ending Gospel Poverty in Hard Places

Rwanda and Vietnam are separated by geography, culture, and language, but local pastors and ministry leaders in both countries face a shared challenge: navigating difficult ministry environments with limited access to formal theological education. Still, their desire to study and share God’s Word is incredibly strong.

By bringing affordable and reproducible training in their own language directly to these nations, CCI helps pastors strengthen their churches and disciple believers in hard-to-reach places. From East Africa to Southeast Asia, God is at work.

Rwanda, often called the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” has made a remarkable recovery since the devastating 1994 genocide. Local churches have been key to this healing, offering spiritual guidance and hope to communities across the country. Today, however, these ministries face a new wave of challenges.
