India is the most populated country in the world with 1.5 BILLION people. CCI has been working in India since 2012. In June 2018, Vijay Kumar was assigned to be the National Director to continue developing the ministry of CCI India. He developed a wonderful team of faithful men as teachers and Area Coordinators. He shared recently that he has several faithful men ready to add to his staff to help expand to more areas of India.

On January 1st, 2026, Vijay was promoted to be the Regional Director of the Indian Subcontinent countries of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Nepal. He collaborates closely with the National Director of each country to develop more personnel so the ministry can expand throughout each country. 

There are 4 Area Coordinators and 20 teachers presently leading 81 classes going throughout the country with over 1385 students in training. 

God continues to expand this ministry through Vijay’s leadership, the dedicated CCI staff, and 620 graduates who are actively serving in local churches. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
