Some of my fellow pastors have asked why I travel to Southeast Sulawesi every month. They wonder if it’s worth the travel costs and time. But I tell them this: there is always a price to pay to see lasting results in a growing ministry, whether financial cost, time, or physical exhaustion.
Each visit I make is intentional. I go with clear goals in mind: to ensure the four classes are learning actively each week, to encourage and support the five teachers so they can teach effectively, and to prepare the way for a future coordinator in Southeast Sulawesi.
