Indonesia: Staying Strong Amid the Storms of Life

Last year, my wife Renny became ill and had to undergo two surgeries and six chemotherapy sessions. She is now in a six-year drug therapy program, which includes regular blood tests and injections every three months.

This year, at the end of July, I experienced Bell’s palsy. While I was still undergoing therapy and had not yet recovered, our house was struck by a strong windstorm that badly damaged the roof. In that moment, the outdoor water tank was blown away and landed only one meter from my head. I am deeply grateful that God protected me and kept me safe.
