Indonesia

Indonesia is a Muslim-majority nation (87.08%), primarily following Sunni Islam. Christianity is the second-largest group at 10.45%, with significant regional majorities in Papua and East Nusa Tenggara. The remainder of the population consists of Hindus (1.68%, centered in Bali), Buddhists (0.71%), and Confucians (0.03%). 

Currently, there are 31 classes with 130 students in training with CCI. Many of these 31 classes were started by National Director, Frids Lumba in 2019.  In 2026, Frids was appointed to oversee the Malay countries of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, further extending the reach of this ministry and strengthening leadership development throughout the region. Under his leadership, CCI Indonesia now includes 2 Area Coordinators and 15 teachers.

God continues to expand this ministry through Frid’s leadership, the dedicated CCI staff, and 48 graduates who are actively serving in local churches. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
