As we reflect on Christ’s work on the cross, the ultimate expression of God’s love, we are reminded that His sacrifice brought salvation to all who believe. We have done nothing to earn it; we simply receive His finished work on our behalf with gratitude and awe.
When we consider the magnitude of Christ’s death and resurrection, our hearts are moved to respond in gratitude. One of the most fitting ways to show our thankfulness is through daily prayer—taking time to thank Him for His mercy, grace, and the new life we have in Him. We can also express our love by serving Him whenever we have the opportunity, using our gifts and time for His glory.
