“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” -Revelation 3:20
This verse is a beautiful invitation from Jesus to experience a deeper, personal relationship with Him. As I meditate on these words, I picture our Savior standing patiently at the door of each person’s heart and life, lovingly calling them to Himself.
In a world filled with darkness, the Light of Christ continues to shine. Many people are still living apart from God, yet Jesus lovingly seeks them. As Romans 3:23 reminds us, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Sin has separated mankind from God, but because of His great love, He desires to restore that relationship and dwell within us.
How will people know the One who is knocking at the door of their hearts unless someone tells them? As Christians, we have the privilege and responsibility of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who have never heard. We are called to tell others who Jesus is, invite them to receive Him as Savior, and help them grow as faithful disciples of Christ. Read the Full Update
