Recently, a Buddhist teacher who had previously identified as a Christian for seven years became widely known across social media after publicly returning to Buddhism. Through online debates with a Christian pastor, he began openly denying the existence of God and opposing core Christian doctrine. His teachings, centered on rationalism and humanism with an emphasis on self-reliance, gained popularity throughout the country and even in neighboring nations.
Sadly, many nominal Christians have been influenced by these teachings. Some have begun questioning their faith, while others have walked away from Christianity altogether to follow his ideas. Buddhism teaches dependence on self rather than salvation through God, and because of this, many are being led away from the truth of the gospel.
Yet Scripture reminds us that truth is not determined by popularity or human reasoning. God has revealed Himself clearly through His Word, and salvation is found only in Jesus Christ.
