I am very grateful for all that God is doing through CCI Indonesia. After attending the CCI Conference in the Philippines, however, I realized that my focus, and the focus of many of our staff members in CCI Indonesia, had become centered on classes and learning activities. In the process, we had lost sight of CCI’s greater vision: multiplication.
This became evident during two recent graduations where no students stepped forward to become teachers. Too often, we have looked to pastors to lead new classes rather than encouraging alumni and other potential leaders to take the next step.
I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to attend the conference and to be encouraged through the messages shared by Dr. David Nelson and John North. God used this time to renew our vision and remind us that our goal is not only to graduate students, but to multiply disciple-makers who will train others. Read the Full Update
