This month, we have seen God provide for a significant need, introduce local pastors and church leaders to an effective method of studying Scripture, and prepare us for an extended ministry trip. Through each experience, He continues to remind us that He faithfully provides what we need and opens doors for us to equip others.
Our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan developed a serious transmission problem, especially while using reverse. Because this van is essential to our ministry and travel, we took it to the United States for an estimate.
We were quoted approximately $8,000 for a new transmission. Even rebuilding the transmission in the United States would have cost about $5,000. After asking around in Mexico, however, we found someone who could rebuild it for $2,400.
We now have the van back and are grateful that it is operating again. We praise God for working through His people to help meet this need. We are also extremely thankful for a member of our congregation who generously allowed us to borrow his truck while our van was in the shop. His kindness ensured that we still had dependable transportation during the repair. Read the Full Update
