The Lord calls us to love Him and to love our neighbors as ourselves with our whole being. This is the foundation of the Christian life and ministry. When we love the Lord as the source of all things, we are able to faithfully serve our families and others. Serving others in love fulfills the requirements of the royal law (Romans 13:9-10; Galatians 5:14). Love is essential to carrying out the work God has entrusted to us in His kingdom.
What a blessing it is to see pastors recognize the need to make disciples within their own congregations. Their passion and commitment are deeply encouraging. In July, amid great turmoil, the Lord graciously opened doors for three new training classes with more than 25 participants. Most participants meet weekly in their respective regions.
One of their greatest fears is the threat of airstrikes. When they hear an airplane, they must quickly seek shelter.
