Myanmar: Sustained by the Lord

The month of August was full of heartbreak because of natural disasters that brought loss of life and property, leaving many hungry, grieving, and displaced. The situation in Nepal was unimaginable and broke our hearts, as our people in Myanmar faced similar suffering. Massive floods hit over 30 cities across the country and continue to affect one place after another. Churches have contributed relief funds to reach the affected areas. However, the need is still beyond local contributions. Unexpected floodwaters entered our house, badly damaging many belongings, including training materials. It took over a week to clean and dry things out. By the grace of the Lord, we are all doing well.

Pastor M, the area coordinator, visited two churches and met with two pastors to share information about the ministry. Both pastors are very interested in what CCI is doing with local churches in different countries. They are praying to hold a workshop in the near future. Read the Full Update
