Nepal was once among the fastest-growing countries for the church. It remains a great privilege to help advance God’s Kingdom in this Himalayan nation. At the same time, one of the greatest challenges is the urgent need to raise and develop godly leaders who can faithfully lead, teach, and shepherd the church.
Where strong biblical leadership is lacking, some churches have struggled, and believers have drifted away. Without faithful shepherds, congregations can become like sheep without a shepherd. This not only affects those within the church but also discourages others from coming, especially when they see the impact of past decline. For this reason, raising godly leaders is essential, not only to strengthen existing churches but also to plant and mobilize new ones for the mission field across Nepal.
We are committed to equipping and empowering leaders to help fill this gap. For the past ten years, we have provided training that meets the needs of local churches. As a result, many churches are becoming more organized, healthy, and fruitful. Leaders are growing in both biblical knowledge and practical ministry skills, and more pastors are recognizing the vital importance of solid Bible training. Read the Full Update
