Nepal
Hinduism is the primary religion in Nepal, practiced by 81.19% of the population according to the 2021 census. Buddhism is the second-largest faith at 8.21%, followed by Islam (5.09%), the indigenous Kirat religion (3.17%), and Christianity (1.76%). While the country is constitutionally a secular state, Hinduism remains deeply influential in social and political life, often blending with Buddhist traditions in daily practice.
CCI began its training ministry in Nepal in 2015. Our National Director faithfully oversees a rapidly growing ministry that is equipping believers across the country. Under his leadership, CCI Nepal now includes 3 Area Coordinators, 6 teachers and over 260 students.
God continues to expand this ministry through CCI leadership, the dedicated CCI staff, and 225 graduates who are actively serving in local churches. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
Your gift of any amount is important to help equip pastors who are multiplying the Word of God to many people. Will you partner with us to equip leaders in Nepal?
