I would like to share with you that in Punjabi culture, we celebrate Christmas with a week of carol singing, visiting believers’ homes each evening to offer mubarakbad, or greetings, in honor of Jesus’ birth. Families joyfully share peanuts, sweets, and fruits, and we collect offerings that help us prepare a special meal for December 25.
On December 24, we hold a Christmas procession through the streets with people dressed as angels, Mary, Joseph, and the three wise men. Later that night, we gather for a prayer meeting filled with singing, biblical preaching, and sometimes dramas that portray the birth of our Savior. Read More
