Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea is a predominantly Christian nation, with approximately 95% to 98% of the population identifying as such and the state formally declaring itself a Christian country in 2025. The religious landscape is led by the Roman Catholic and Lutheran churches, though evangelical and pentecostal groups are currently the fastest-growing denominations. While Christianity is central to public life, it is frequently practiced alongside traditional indigenous beliefs, and the country maintains small but diverse minority communities of Baha'is, Muslims, and Hindus.

CCI began its training ministry in PNG in 2023. Our Country Director, Taitus Tauliebu, and his wife, Lydia, who serves as the Office Administrator, faithfully oversee a rapidly growing ministry that is equipping believers across the country. 

God continues to expand this ministry through CCI leadership and the dedicated CCI staff. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
