This month, God has allowed us to serve His church in practical ways, encourage a student through personal loss, and prepare another leader to carry the work forward. Whether we are building shelves, walking alongside a grieving student, or equipping a teacher to lead, each opportunity contributes to the same mission: strengthening God’s people and preparing faithful leaders to disciple others.
We recently had the privilege of helping Joel King, a pastor and missionary, as Sunrise Baptist Church prepared for Vacation Bible School (VBS). The church has been completing construction projects, and we were able to assist by building shelves and installing trim around the doors.
These finishing touches may seem small, but they helped make the church’s facilities more functional and welcoming for the children and families attending VBS. We are grateful that God allows us to serve alongside other missionaries and churches—not only through biblical training but also by using our hands to help meet practical ministry needs.
