Uganda
Christianity remains Uganda's dominant religion at 80.8%, with Roman Catholics (39%) and Anglicans (32%) forming the largest groups. The Pentecostal and Evangelical movement is the fastest-growing denomination, increasing its share of the population to 14.3%, while Islam is the largest minority religion at approximately 14-35%. Other minority groups, including Seventh-day Adventists, traditionalists, and Hindus, collectively make up the remaining portion of the population.
CCI began its training ministry in Uganda in 2017. Our Country Coordinator, Abraham Koche, and the Ministry Promoter, Andrew Wakabi, faithfully oversee a rapidly growing ministry that is equipping believers across the country. Uganda now includes 3 Regional Coordinators, 2 teachers and over 140 students.
A group of pastors in the Sebei Region of Eastern Uganda are eager to receive CCI training to equip 20 pastors, most of whom have had little to no formal Bible or ministry training.
God continues to expand this ministry through CCI leadership and the dedicated CCI staff. Together, they are equipping men and women to become mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ, strengthening local churches, and advancing God’s work throughout the country.
Your gift of any amount is important to help equip pastors who are multiplying the Word of God to many people. Will you partner with us to equip leaders in Uganda?
