We are thankful for the many ways the Lord continues to work through the ministry here in Puerto Peñasco. This season has been filled with opportunities to worship, serve, teach, and walk alongside others in the life of the church. We are grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful partnership, which make this ministry possible.
We were blessed to celebrate Resurrection Sunday with a special beach service that brought together approximately 190 people. After setting everything up on Saturday, we gathered early on Sunday morning in a beautiful setting to celebrate the risen Savior.
During the service, fellow elder Joe Moore shared a thoughtful reminder that giving is an act of worship. Keith also gave the communion meditation, encouraging everyone to come to the Lord’s Table with reverence, self-examination, and hearts ready to seek forgiveness, just as Paul instructs in Scripture. It was a meaningful time of reflection and worship for many.
After the service, we returned to the church for a pancake breakfast and an oatmeal bar, where people enjoyed food, fellowship, and continued conversation. Keith and Jenny also spent part of the day supporting a church family member and fellow student who had to work and was unable to attend the event.
