Every trip I have taken has been wonderful and spiritually awakening, thanks to new environments and the godly people I meet. This trip to Thailand was longer than I had initially planned due to visa complications involving my daughter. Yet, the warm fellowship and new experiences were amazing, even alongside the challenges. This extra time also gave me the chance to reflect on myself, my family, my ministry, and my country.
From afar, looking with spiritual eyes, I saw our people living only for day-to-day survival. They do not even realize who they are because of the unrest, and this includes Christians. They are striving just to endure. I pray daily for my people and my country, for peace and justice. Out of many devotions, the letter from Peter has convicted me of the urgent need for training in every church, so that every believer may hear and obey the call to be good stewards of God, using their gifts for the benefit of others in this time of crisis.
