Nepal lies within the 10/40 Window and remains one of the most unreached nations in the world. Thousands of villages have yet to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over 90% of the population, primarily Hindu, Buddhist, and indigenous communities, continue in idol and nature worship, shaping every aspect of life, including family, education, business, and government.
In a high-altitude, culturally Tibetan region of western Nepal lies one of the country’s most remote and restricted regions. Though breathtaking in natural beauty, it is spiritually isolated. Out of nearly 20,000 people, only about 250 know Christ. A road was completed just three years ago, providing limited access. Many residents travel to China for trade and religious activity, and families commonly send one child to India or Kathmandu to train as a Buddhist monk. Long-term missionary presence is not permitted due to government regulations, local monk influence, and harsh weather conditions.
