North America: The Work Continues

We are grateful for the Lord’s continued faithfulness to CCI’s work across North America and the Caribbean during July and August. In Haiti, our teachers are serving faithfully despite difficult conditions, visiting classes and meeting with pastors who want to begin training in their churches. Work is also moving forward on the Haitian Creole curriculum, bringing us closer to completing these essential materials.

In Mexico, we are encouraged by new opportunities to train teachers in Ensenada and by Saul Veladiz’s growing responsibilities in Puerto Peñasco. Keith Arnold is also preparing the Multiply 30 Initiative, which aims to equip at least 30 pastors and Christian leaders beginning next year.

In the United States, new Swahili classes are starting in Pennsylvania, and new English classes are beginning in several states. At Main Street Baptist Church in Tennessee, I gave a ministry presentation that brought prospective students together, and plans for a new class are taking shape.
